A Hike in Welsford

Mark, Reese and I went on a hike today up a hill/mountain in Welsford (between SJ and Fredericton). You can probably tell from the pictures how high up we were! It was quite a workout, especially for Mark with Reese in the Baby Bjorn and his camera and case. The view was amazing with all the fall foliage......the pictures don't do it justice.

2 Months!

Well it's hard to believe, but our little peanut turned 2 months old last week! As you can see, she's a pretty big girl, and she weighs over 12lbs now! We started Kindermusik last week, which is a class for babies that combines music and movement. She's a bit young to appreciate it right now, but you can never start too early. Plus it's nice for Mom to get out and socialize with other Moms! We're also starting a "Fit for Two" class this week at the Y which is an aerobics class for Mom and baby followed by a half an hour in the pool. I can't wait to see how she reacts to the water.

No new milestones to report but she's still all smiles (like this little crooked one) and there's times when you'd swear she's giggling. She's starting to settle into a routine of a morning nap and an afternoon nap which is great for me so I can accomplish some things around the house and have a bit of "me" time. So all and all, things are going well!

Here she is with her Nana Anderson on her 2 month birthday:

Reese in her Bumbo!

We put Reese in her Bumbo tonight and she seemed to enjoy it as you can see:

September 8th Wedding

One of my best friends was married in Saint John recently and I was her matron of honour. It was a beautiful wedding and everything went off without a hitch. It was an exciting day for Mark and I as it was our first outing without the little one. We were lucky enough to have my parents come over from N.S. to watch her for us and by all accounts, everything went well. Here are a few photos from the wedding:

Unfortunately we didn't get a great shot of the happy couple, but rest assured they both looked amazing and hopelessly in love!!!!!!!

And here's a great shot that my mom took of Reese while she and my dad were watching her:

Here's a picture of Reese and her Grandad:

4 Generations

Here's a very special picture of Reese, Mark, Barb (Mark's mom), and Eilleen, Mark's grandmother. Reese is great-grandchild #10 for Mrs. Farrell!

Reese smiles!

For the most part, Reese is a pretty happy baby as you can see from her smiles that we managed to catch on camera.

Then along came Reese.......

On an unusally hot, humid July day, Reese Lilliane Anderson was born!

Our little princess was 7 lbs and 4oz when she was born. She was stubborn, Mom was in labour for 29 hours! Dad's been very busy snapping photos of Reese:

She's had many visitors since she's been born:

Before Reese........

Once upon a time, in foggy Saint John, there lived a family of Anderson's- Mark, Lauren and Cash. Cashman, as he was referred to, was the baby of the family, and a wee bit spoiled! Cash is now 8 years old and just the best pet you could ever have! He's very well behaved and loves to hunt with Mark. Beautiful, isn't he?
