Our Climber

No, she's not walking yet, but she's climbing on everything! As far as she's concerned, nothing is off limits! She's keeping Mommy on her toes these days, that's for sure! Here she is discovering the dishwasher....as you can see, Daddy didn't think it was such a good idea:

It's so hard to believe that she's soon going to be 1. I understand what everyone was saying when they told me it was going to go by so fast! I'll be back at work on August 1st....I think I'm in denial on that one. It'll be fine once I'm back into the swing of things, I'm sure. And although she still *wails* when I leave her with the sitter, it's clear that she's becoming attached to her....sad for me, great for Reese. So that will be one less thing to worry about when the time comes.

Sunny and hot!

I understand that not all of the maritimes have been blessed with such great weather, but I have to tell you that it's been amazingingly hot and sunny here lately.....especially by Saint John standards! So needless to say we've been taking advantage and spending lots of time at our cottage. Reese was having problems settling down for naps there, and we finally found a solution.....the swing! If we put her in it before her nap time, she's out cold within minutes. It's wonderful! And pretty darn cute too, so I thought I'd share some pictures:






We thought we'd try for another family photo, but it seems the older Reese gets, the less co-operative she becomes. Oh well, this one didn't turn out badly:



Do we like Mark's shaved head??? I personally give it 2 thumbs up!
