Hunter is one month old!

I know it sounds so cliche, but where has the time gone? I can't even believe our little Hunter has turned 1 month old already! It's such a difference with the second child- with our first we were so frantic and nervous and just wishing things along. Now that we know what to expect, it's so much easier and we try not to take a moment of it for granted. This is the last time in my lifetime that I'll have a one month old! Sniff, sniff!

Hunter continues to be a pretty laid back little fella, but don't get me wrong, he has his fussy moments as most newborns do. His *fussiness* however pales in comparison to Reese's when she was his age. He's just over 10lbs and smiles, and looks when he hears noises. I have to laugh because he startles so very easily, and if you were lucky enough to know my grandmother, you'd know he comes by this honestly!

We enjoyed a beautiful sunny weekend at the cottage this past weekend and here are a few pictures we took while we were there.

Do two year olds EVER get tired of bubbles?!?!!

Reese is still loving her little brother and keeps a close eye on him:)

Ok, too cute......Dad's hand and Hunter's.

The little one month old himself!

Our little poser:

And again.

Dad and Hunter cooling off in the shade....it was a hot one, over 30 degrees!

Awwwwww, nothing like a sleeping baby:)

June 1 2008- Proud Big Sister

Reese continues to be quite taken with her new little brother. She's always inquiring "where's baby?" and is busy checking him out when he is around and awake. She loves to help with burping him and is, oh so gentle when she pats his little back. She will bring him his blanket if it happens to not be on him and she gives him little pushes in the swing. It really melts your heart! She did give him a prompt "Sssshhhhhh!" yesterday though, when she was trying to watch Elmo on TV and Hunter was fussing and making a little too much noise for her liking!

Here she is holding Hunter for the very first time:)

And here's a picture of Hunter in the bath the other night. No, like most babies, he clearly doesn't love it, but as usual, he's a pretty good sport.
