A Walk in the Snow
After last Friday's storm passed, the weather was absolutely beautiful here so we thought we'd take advantage of the mild temperatures and get out with Reese. Mark brought along the trusty camera and we attempted some family photos, but with the sun as bright as it was, only a few turned out. Daddy's squinting a bit in this one, but it's a cute picture nonetheless.
Here's Reese testing out the snow for the first time:
And here's Reese and Mommy looking snug and warm!
Not much new to report. Yes, she continues to grow. I'd venture a guess that she's close to 21 lbs now but I'm not sure since we haven't had her weighed in a month and a half. She's sitting up well on her own and is doing more rolling lately but is still content to just stay put. This is fine with me! I've seen what life is like when they're moving around! She's definitely saying "Mama" although I'm still not certain she knows exactly what she's saying. It's very cute just the same. We've begun signing a bit with her. Just some basics to start off with but we're hoping she picks up on it and then I'm planning on attending a class with her in the spring. I've heard and read amazing things about baby signing so we're hopeful it works out. We're getting anxious to head to Florida in a few weeks. We're going to stay with Mark's mom who is staying just down the boulevard from my parents. And my sister and her family are staying with my parents at the same time. Should be a ball!
